In the unusual event of defect, failure of phone cards sold by us or unacceptable voice quality experienced, kindly call us at 1300 137791 to lodge a complaint for the prompt replacement of lost credit. Period !

ChatChat promises to deliver one of the most generous no-question-asked credit refund policy.

DOES CHATCHAT IMPOSE ANY CONNECTION FEE?

Unlike other phonecard providers, ChatChat DOES NOT impose any connection fee. Period.

HOW DO I RECHARGE MY CARD?

At the moment, you can recharge the card by manually calling our customer service team at 1300 137791. You'll be required to provide your card's PIN number for verification, plus credit card details and the dollar amount you would like to recharge on your card.

In early 2007, you would be able to recharge your phonecard automatically by :

  • Via Phone : using our integrated voice recognition technology - just call the recharge telephone number printed on the card and follow the voice prompts; or
  • Via website : you can log on to www.shinetown.com.au and recharge your phonecard

HOW LONG DOES CHATCHAT PHONECARD LAST?

The Expiry date is printed at the back of the ChatChat phonecard. Beyond the Expiry date, the phonecard is no longer useable. Once the phonecard is activated, the credit within the phonecard remains useable for 180 days. Any unused minutes on a phone card will be forfeited after this period, unless the card is recharged. If the card is recharged prior to the 180 days, the remaining minutes on the card will be carried over for another 180 days.

HOW DO MAKE A FOLLOW-ON CALL?

At any time during the call, you can disrupt your existing call and make a follow-on call by hitting **. A voice prompt will guide you to make the next call.

HOW DOES CHATCHAT PRE-PAID PHONECARD WORK?

Our ChatChat pre-paid phonecards come in $10, $20 or $50 denomination per card. The ChatChat prepaid phone card comes with local access number throughout the whole of Australia. For security, the PIN is hidden by a scratch-off coating that you remove after buying the card. To access ChatChat phone card service, simply place a call (at your own cost) to the local access number nearest to you and follow the recorded instructions.

Alternatively, you can access our services through 1300 137773 and 1800 234 955. Per minute surcharges of A$ 0.05/min and A$ 0.10/min apply respectively.

Calls from mobile phones will incur additional costs.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE OPTION MENU FOR CHATCHAT PHONECARD SERVICES?

At any time during the call, you can access our Option Menu by hitting 99#.

  • Option 1 To set speed dial memory
  • Option 2 To recharge / topup using a new card
  • Option 3 To recharge / topup by credit card
  • Option 4 To register or delete phone number. After registration, one will be able to enjoy our PINLESS dial feature.
